Delete Your Account
How to remove your Scry account and all associated data.
Option 1: Delete from within the app
- Open the Scry app
- Go to the Profile tab
- Tap your name at the top to open Account settings
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account
- Confirm the deletion when prompted
Option 2: Request deletion by email
Email support@scryit.ai with the subject line "Delete my account" and include the email address you used to register. We will process your request within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your profile (name, email, age group)
- Your allergen and dietary preferences
- Family member profiles and their restrictions
- Scan history and feed data
- Saved travel reports and allergy cards
- Push notification tokens
What is retained
Anonymised audit logs may be retained for up to 7 years for legal and regulatory compliance. These logs do not contain any personally identifiable information after account deletion.
Timeframe
In-app deletion is processed immediately. Email requests are processed within 30 days. If you have an active subscription, it will be cancelled automatically upon account deletion.
