Scry is a food allergy safety app that helps you find safe places to eat, check restaurant menus for allergens, and travel with confidence. We check allergen data from official restaurant sources so you can make informed choices.

We source allergen information directly from restaurants’ official allergen guides and documentation. Our system uses deterministic data extraction to ensure accuracy. Where data is estimated by AI, we clearly mark it so you always know the source.

We work hard to keep our data accurate, but restaurant menus and ingredients can change without notice. Always confirm with restaurant staff before ordering, especially if you have a severe allergy. Scry is designed to help you ask the right questions, not replace checking directly.

Use the “Report a problem” option in the app (Profile > Report a problem), or email us at support@scryit.ai with the restaurant name and what needs correcting. We investigate every report.

Scry covers the 14 allergens required by UK food labelling law: celery, cereals containing gluten, crustaceans, eggs, fish, lupin, milk, molluscs, mustard, nuts (tree nuts), peanuts, sesame, soya, and sulphur dioxide / sulphites.

You can manage or cancel your subscription through your device’s settings. On iPhone: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > Scry. On Android: Google Play Store > Profile > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions > Scry.

Go to Profile > Settings > Account > Delete my account in the app. This permanently removes your account and all associated data. You can also email support@scryit.ai to request deletion.

Yes. Your allergen and dietary profile is classified as health-related data under UK GDPR and is processed with your explicit consent and appropriate safeguards. We never sell your personal data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Scry’s restaurant data is focused on the UK, but our travel features (allergy cards, destination reports, key phrases) work for international travel to over 100 countries.

Use the “Share Scry” option in your Profile to send a link to friends and family.
